Dr. Yan Zhen, Ph.D. in World History, is currently an assistant professor in SIPA. His received his bachelor degree in English, and Ph.D. in world history in 2013 from Jilin University. He was a visiting scholar to Sungkyunkwan University, Korea from 2017-8. He teaches and researches in the area of public diplomacy and globalization. And he is also supervising MA students in International Relations and Public Diplomacy studies. His current research interest in found in the historical development and the globalization of soft power and public diplomacy.
