Our Favorite Places KOH SAMUI THAILAND THAILAND IS AN AFFORDABLE DESTINATION ONCE YOU GET THERE. THE FLIGHT IS LONG FROM THE UNITED STATES AND COST OF THE TICKET WOULD BE THE MOST EXPENSIVE PART OF THE TRIP. HOWEVER, IT IS WELL WORTH THE LONG TRIP. THE BEACHES ARE BEAUTIFUL AND THE WATER IS WARM. THE ACTIVITIES ARE PLENTIFUL FROM LAND TO SEA. A GREAT ESCAPE FROM THE CARIBBEAN DESTINATIONS DUE TO THE RICH CULTURE, FRESH FRUITS, AND LOCAL THAI FLAVORFUL FOODS! VERY, VERY AFFORDABLE! We have never been to this part of the United States before and let me tell you, before you die, you should go! I cannot tell you in words the beauty of these places…. Just truly amazing, the colors, the landscape (different each moment!) We didn’t dare to blink as we were driving the loop from Las Vegas to Hoover Dam, old Route 66, Holbrook AZ home of the Petrified Forest and the Painted Dessert, then to the Grand Canyon, off to Page Utah home of Lake Powell, Glen Canyon, Rainbow Bridge, Monument Valley, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. This should be on your bucket list!
 LAKE POWELL, PAGE UTAH THIS WAS BY FAR MY MOST FAVORITE SCENIC PLACE, BESIDES THE GRAND CANYON. THE LITTLE TOWN OF PAGE IS THE GATE WAY TO LAKE POWELL, GLEN CANYON WHERE YOU COULD LEISURELY DO A FLOAT TRIP, RAINBOW BRIDGE, BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK, ZION NATIONAL PARK, AND MONUMENT VALLEY.  Zion National Park  Inside the Zion National Park  The Painted Desert-the colors were absolutely amazing in real life!  First Sight of the Grand Canyon South Rim. Words could not describe the feeling!  The majestic backdrop of the Grand Canyon! |
